Returning to Play the Role of Mo, is...Mo

HI! I have updates out the hoohoo.

Well, its official PD is out of my life, yeah! Well, maybe not completely...we do have a four year old in common. However he is out of my house, and that is definitely something to celebrate. He moved out Mother's Day weekend (what a gift indeed), so since then I've been chillin'.

I have also been datin'. More on that topic in another post....oh i can't hold it, you pulled it out of me, so here goes...I joined, blackplanet.com. Yes I hate that site, but I put up a page anyway. I listed all the reasons that I wasn't there...not really covering why I was there, and posted a few pictures of myself. Well since my physical is very distracting...or so I've been told...I figured this would weed out anyone not into reading alot...therefore, weeding out anyone that I knew immediately I would not have much in common with. The best part is...I met someone I like and started "conversating" with him. We hit it off instantly, and he's from my home state, but even better his father is from my hometown. We basically talked non-stop from the moment he sent me that first note online. Mind you my page had only been up for like one day. He even proposed...sorta. Here's that story...I was explaining that in this year's Cosmo magazine's bedside astrologer it said that Leo is the perfect husband match for Aries...I'm an Aries, and he's a Leo. But up until then I didn't know any Leos...so then he said {kneeling down on one knee}, will you marry me? Isn't that cute! Well we've been joking about our "wedding" ever since then. Lining up the corporate sponsors all that...you know.

We went on our first date this past Saturday, and he planned it all. It was fabulous considering I haven't been taken out in years...TELL NO ONE, as a matter of fact just forget that last part completely. It was really nice...he took me to the zoo (I had never been to the zoo here), and then to this really interesting little African restaurant down in Adam's Morgan. After dinner we went to this Internet cafe/coffeehouse/bar, also in AM, called Tryst. We met some very interesting people there including, Anu, a playwright, and Jessica, a choreographer. We stayed there for at least a couple of hours talking and laughing and having a whole lot of fun.

After Tryst he took me back to my car which was parked down in the district, and then I followed him back to his place, which at the time, I knew was a bad idea, but I didn't want the day to end. Yes I am a sucker for a nice guy. Once we got to his place, I parked my car in his spot, then we went to blockbuster, and I picked out Closer for us to watch (I really didn't know the subject matter, honestly, no really I didn't...at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it)...well after that...um…we got closer. Really close…biblically close. I know, I know, I tried to resist, really I did. I said several times, “I have to go now”. Well the last time I said that…he looked right into my eyes and said, “You aren’t going anywhere”. Still sends shivers up my spine…oohh Mufasa. Well needless to say…I didn’t go anywhere. As a matter of fact, I’m still here now. I’m not going to work, or shower, or eat…just stay here until he tells me I can leave. Ahh…damn you Jude Law.
